Many areas of the curriculum can be linked to the sessions including English, maths, art, design technology, science and geography. Alternative Provision/Small group intervention Forest School Sessions

Over a six to 12 week period we can deliver a weekly two-hour Forest School session with intervention groups of up to six pupils. These sessions can be focussed specifically on maths and English but using the outdoors as a stimulus. In addition, the intervention would aim to raise individuals’ self-esteem and confidence. Pre and post assessments can be carried out using your school’s preferred methods of diagnostic testing. Additionally, Be Wild staff can carry out, in conjunction with the class teacher, a Boxall Profile to identify  social, emotional and behavioural areas in need of development of individual children and formulate an individual education plan. Over the course of the sessions targets will be set and evaluated. Should these sessions be funded using Pupil Premium money we would be happy to provide documentation to help justify Be Wild’s involvement.
